hi Mini Sharma! set a routine for ur child. make sure study time is planned at such a time that your lil one is sleeping and you are free and able to give attention to your child . children at this age need your constant guidance and motivation. give him timed test papers and correct these. do praise and reward him for efforts. if he does mistakes don't scold him , make him do corrections. the more the positive feedback the better would be his motivation to do well. give immediate rewards like a smiley or a star or his favourite dish or extra 20 minutes TV time. also teaching style should be such that he can relate to it and finds it interesting. give examples from day to day life. all these steps would keep him interested and motivated. hope this helps!

first find out... who is his ideal. give his example. explain him the importance of study. show him the result of being illiterate. show him the example of a successful hardworking person after study. then ask him to choose his future depends on present. best of luck.
