I understand your problem concerned with weight gain of your baby . Please follow these foods in your babies diet and some more tips given below. Give zinc rich foods .Zinc helps in building appetite. Wheat bran, cashew nuts, and pumpkin seeds are good for improving the level of zinc in the body. Try incorporating these into your child's meals or snacks. Check with your child's doctor for zinc supplements as well. Add protein rich foods like fish, beans,eggs & some carbs like rice mashed potatoes etc. Ragi is rich in protein, fibre, and vitamin B1, B2, and B6. It is one of the best foods to promote weight gain in babies. It also strengthens teeth and bones. You can also introduce ragi to kids in the form of ragi dosa, ragi kheer,ragi cookies etc. Just keep in mind the quantities to be given to your baby. I even learnt from latest research that good body massage given to babies increases appetite and help them gain weight. The best oil to be used for baby massage is coconut oil mixed with Johnson's & Johnson's baby oil which is clinically proven mild and gentle formula for your baby’s skin.
