Not interested in studies

My son is very good in sports but when it comes to studies he becomes lazy. Plz suggest any solution.

hi Monika! play comes naturally to children and for studies they need to get serious and pay attention which means no fun . u need to make studies such that they find it interesting and add fun element to it. as far as possible give examples from day to day life and add games and challenges to it . appreciation, praise and positive feedback would act as motivators whereas scolding, negative feedback and restricting studies to pen and paper would act as demotivating factors. hope this will be of help to u !
