not speaking properly

Hi All,   My daughter will be turning 7 in october. But she is not speaking properly.. She is going to formal school. She stammers a little bit (tutlana).. Sometimes she speaks very clearly, but sometimes again start talking in kiddish language. I am not able to find out is she really having some speach problem, or she want to be pampered thats why using this type of language. Should i consult the doctor.. or any other things i can try

Hi Sanju, you could start by making some rules such as: tell her that if she is asking something from you in a kiddish tone, you will not listen to her till she speaks clearly, or you will not have a conversation with her in a childish tone. Ask everyone in the house to follow this including grandparents, maids, and older siblings. Enlist help at her school too. If she is speaking clearly in school, then it is probably just the environment at home else you might want to refer to a specialist.

I think you shud seek help of speech therapy.... if should not prolong.... as early you rectify this wud be better for girl... it wud take a month or so..... I am already taking classes for my son.... and it really helps.
