my baby's pediatric also suggested to give oatd to my 8 month old. and suggested to give it without adding milk cz he already takes milk lot many times throughout the day. just pressure cook it with water just like khichdi and u can add veggies too. blend it in blender or mixer and serve.

Hi .to best of my knowledge ..oats are adult food as it contains complex carbs.... prefer other cereal which digests easily to 8 months old. even my child is of same age. To treats constipation you can also give boiled moong chilka daal.... (green colored moong daal). it has good fibre content n resolves stomach issues for infants.

I powder the oats in a mixer and take around 3 spoons of oats powder and mix with milk and water and boil it until it forms a semi solid form or until the oats are cooked. You can add palm sugar for sweetness.
