outie belly button

My 3m old son has outie belly button. It blows out like small balloon when he cries. Should I worry about it? Does it go inside on its own?

hi Deepthi Prasad ! it usually goes in by one year.. it happens when more of the umbilical cord is left, when it is cut.. as long as it not causing something oozing out or redness, or pain,it should not be a cause of concern .however u can consult yr doc on ur next visit..
