I can understand Dia !Sorry to hear about your child's grandfather. He has recently lost a loved one, and has yet not been able to overcome with the loss. That's y he is overprotective for his grandmother and does not want to take any risk. That's true this infection could be fatal for people who are immunocompromised including our elderly. You need to talk to him and let him know that all precautions are being taken and she will be fine. Also work on her immunity give her immunity boosting diet such as ginger ,garlic ,vitamin C rich fruits and vegetables. Beisdes make sure she is socially distancing herself. let her her grandson continue to take good care of her .she will not only be happy but feel safe too. moreover try to relax your son, and do not tell him again and again that he is overthinking. just give him time and help him overcome with the loss .
