I thought I will call my parents for help and to take care of my daughter so that they will let her away from paint, now still she is not moving around much but later when she starts walking its more trouble with the paint around, anyways thanks a lot for your suggestion, I will think about it.

Deepti, as long as the paint is getting dried, the solvent keeps evaporating. So till the paint dries completely, you can't use the room. Even after the paint dries completely, there will be fumes in the air which have to be thinned out by ventilating the room/ house properly along with the fan. Acrylic paint is supposed to be less harmful than oil based paint. plan a time when your child will be away from home for a week or 2. I took almost a month to move in to the house after painting. But I still got respiratory track infection. It can be more harmful for a baby. So plan accordingly.

Hi deepti, It's not advisable to paint the house with child around. Paints have highly volatile solvent that emits fumes. so the child might get respiratory problem or develop allergy and asthma when the child is exposed at early stage.
