Like Shipra I too got my young one into a hobby class. But only one class in the evening. In the morning, when the weather is ok, she goes out to play or to some friends house.

Unfortunaetly TV time has increased in my house, but also family time. In the evening we sit down with our ludo, or blocks, and have some uninterrupted play. it is really fun.

It is very difficult sometimes. Children become irritated and quarrel over little things. TV has increased. But i try and keep them off atleast in the day by taking them outdoors or calling friends over.

Take them out when you can, plan a vacation to grandparents house, and increase indoor fun, play time.

I and my 5 and a half years old daughter have been making crafts everyday as per the ocassion. For example we have made winter season drawing, cards on Christmas and craft on Christmas tree, best out of waste for example these days we are enjoying making a peacock with pista covers. We also made a girl doing gymnastics with old card and straws; butterfly, panda, Ladybug etc made with stones. So we have been enjoying our winter vacation putting our creativity to test.
