It's Parentune Discussion time!! When on a long train or flight journey, how do you keep your toddler busy?

My child gets very impatient on a train or on a flight and gets cranky, however i try to keep her occupied with colouring books..... Picture books,coloring and drawing,activity books save me from all the trouble.

My child is grown up however, i used to try to see if the child can sleep during the journey. So making him play before the journey by engaging him in conversation or other activities used to help. There were times when he used to get cranky in the flight due to ear pressure, feeding milk at the time of landing and flying was helpful.

My child is 15 months n he is at this stage where keeping him in one place is a task ..... All he wants to do is run.... In a flight its still ok but car journeys R a pain.... Pls suggest
