Hi, I am 24 weeks pregnant. In my level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks it was observed that I have placenta previa (placenta covering the os). I had next ultrasound yesterday at 24 weeks and its still covering the os (9 mm over os). What are my chances of having placenta moved up till the end of pregnancy. Also should i take rest as much as possible.

hi Pallavi! chances are quite good that placenta will move farther away as uterus will increase in size as pregnancy progresses. u need to avoid vigorous exercises, activities which involve pelvis, avoid having intercourse. take good care of yourself Pallavi. seek your gynaecologist's advise on what to avoid , follow it religiously. have faith in God things will be fine . keep us in the loop. tkcare!
