Hi Deepti. There was a similar talk posted by a fellow parent a few weeks earlier. Kindly take a look at the following link: https://www.parentune.com/parent-talk/right-age-to-start-pre-school/406 For the play school suggestions part, I am passing on the question to the fellow parents in Noida :)

2 years + 6months is the ideal age. If u plan to put ur kid in play school, then my suggestion would be put the kid after the summer vacations. As it is going to be very hot, plus the kid needs time to settle, by the time the kid settles summer vacations will start and then again the kid needs the time to settle. So i guess put ur baby after the summer vacations.

hey, you are right. With so many choices it is not easy to single out a place which would be best for your child. I would narrow down my choices based on the following points - 1. Distance from home since I would not want my child to spend a lot of time travelling to and fro. 2. Then, the infrastructure - is the school equipped to provide a wholesome experience to my child - open spaces, play area, hygiene, transport. One visit to the school and you can make out most of this stuff in the first 5 minutes. The fee - budget matters but a school that matches your expectations may be worth the extra dough. 3. The Staff -the teacher- child ratio, number of children per batch. 4. Very important - the kind of activities my child would be doing - the quality and the not the quantity matters here. For example, I could do without a splash pool if the school's activities include things like nature walk,.. depends upon what you are looking for. 5. Lastly, once I have zeroed in on one or two schools, I would catch hold of a parent or two to get an insight into their experience with the school. Sounds like a lot to do but since your child is going to spend her very important years here, will be worth the effort. Besides, the list will keep getting shorter at each step. all the best !
