Play schools these days are too costly. Admission fees is in lacs and monthly fees are in thousands. keeping in mind, these figures, we are thinking to not send our kid to playschool, but directly to nursery/school when he completes 3. Please suggest if it's possible in NCR to take admission directly in school if baby hasn't gone to playschool.

Darpana Malik - Preschools from a early years learning perspective give good surrounding for the child, but in case you decide not to opt for one, you could create a stimulating environment and surrounding for your child at home and his/her vicinity. As per DOE guidelines, there is nothing which mandates the child to have to- have to come through a preschool.

Hi Darpana Malik, I agree with Nitin here, that playschools give good surrounding to the children. They teach the child to be away from home, but in a more friendly and less strict manner, and shorter hours. You could choose one which is more easy on pocket. Officially, I know, playschools are not mandatory.

Hi Darpana Malik, you can definitely send your child directly to nursery. There is no rule as such, but it my be best to check with the desired school in advance on this. Most good schools, give the option of a pre-nursery, as well. You may choose that

Yes pre schools help the child to get into the school going habit and when it's time to go to nursery the transition is more easier... I agree that the high fees are taxing so choose one that's easy in your pocket as they all follow the play and learn method of teaching only
