Polio vaccine

I have been told by the Paediatrician that oral polio drops is fine instead of vaccine... my kid has been already given oral polio drops for the first vaccination schedule at 45 days... Is it fine to give OPV drops instead of IPV vaccine or vaccine is the must ? Please advise...

as per the new recommendations now IPV is mandatory along with OPV so please do insist in taking IPV for your child . They are available as combined vaccines .

oral drop is fine .actually der is shortage of ipv vaccination. so it's not available. so oral drops r also fine .
