1 to 3 years

Hi, My daughter is 2. 4 yrs old. She still uses diaper when she goes to her play school or when we go to some distance places. When at home I try my best to take her to bathroom for every one hr. But the problem is with potty. Her timings for going to toilet became very irregular. She regularly does the potty as soon as she wakes up ,that was few days before. But now its unpredictable and it causing problems for me and her too. Sometimes she does potty when she is in school, where the teachers says try to avoid this at school. Bottom line is, I want to stop completely using diapers for her and I want her to get back on regular potty habits . please help!! Madhuri

Potty training should be started at the earlier stage, so that it becomes habit for the kid. Training kids at later stage becomes very difficult because they are adapted to certain habit. Aarav(my kid), when he was just 1 year 4 months old used to tell me whenever he had to got to toilet, even when he was wearing diaper. Make sure your kid tells you whenever he was to use toilet and make him understand that for potty we should use toilet.
