Dear Chetali, excessive nothing is good for our baby. My son developed constipation as he drank Isomil which is rich in iron. There must be a balanced diet. If your baby is getting more than enough iron then be sure he must have some food that will help him to soften the stool.

hi Chetali Rai! it's indeed stressful to see your child suffer. it's advisable to add a generous serving of ghee/ butter to your child's diet for few days in tadka or baghaar of daal, or in parantha‚Äč. add fibre to his diet by adding fresh fruits like papaya, banana , etc and vegetables like spinach, beans , capsicum etc. give him a plate of salad with cucumber, carrot, radish etc. add yogurt or dahi to his menu as it aids in digestion. give just 2 cups of milk in a day. add egg/ legumes/ sprouts non-veg to his diet. take him to the park , where he can play and also at home involve him in physical activities. hope this will be of help to u!

Hello Chetali, please don't worry. My son has also the same problem. Don't give your child medicines unnecessarily. *Give your child ripe papaya and banana in the evening snacks. *Give him butter at lunch and in dinner with rice. lt makes the path slippery which helps the baby to pass out stool easily. Give him boiled vegetables like pumpkin, carrot etc *make him drink enough water Take care *be careful about his iron consumption
