Hi all!! My 1½ month baby use to vomit(forceful vomit) after every feed. He used to get lot of hungry and he used to cry,, but wen ever i feed him he use to vomit whole milk. He is on formula milk. So i went to hospital, doctor told to admit as he was nt gaining weight and for vomit. After diagnosis(radiology) dey found dat my baby has pyloric stenosis which dey have to do surgery and its curable and dey ve done wit surgery. Now he is ok. As dr suggested i am giving nan pro 1 and giving syrup as per dr advice. Now i want to know that is this a common diseases bcz dr ve told for 1000,, 1 child will suffer from this... So nw surgery has done,, is there any chances of getting this pyloric stenosis again or life long it ll b curable after once surgery has done. I am worried. Pls let me know about this

hi Naga shree!This problem is unlikely to reoccur. Babies who have undergone the surgery should have no long-term effects from it. however it advisable to keep in touch with yr doc and follow all precautions.
