it depends on how many months the baby is old.. In simple way u can soak ragi flour in water.. strain the water and u can boil the strained water and give the baby if the baby is below 6 months.. if after 6 months u need not strain and u can boil the soaked ragi flour and give for the baby..

hi,... if ur baby is just 6 mnths and if ur just gng to strt solid foods then u can make ragi as i say as it s easily digestable,. this is hw v make and my paediatrician also advises the same..... take 2 spoons of ragi seeds soak it for 5to 6 hrs ....if u wish to make sprouted ragi then after soaking it, put the ragi in muslin cloth and tigh it to ur window grill or some hanging surface overnight.... next day u can c small white sprouts wud have come out.... now u can grind it adding little water to it.... after grinding filter the content using sieve or clean white cloth... the milk of ragi which u get after filtering is wht is used to make porridge... take this ragi milk in a vessel... add small amount of water if u wish u can add home made coconut milk(opptional) for taste stir the content untill it thickens.... for younger babies it s advised to give watery... thank u
