Can anyone help me with a solution. .. my 4 months baby is not latching and drinking milk when he is awake. He is not crying out for milk rather he is sucking his finger. I am disappointed with his behaviour of avoiding breastfeed. He was drinking well in first 2 months. .. from 3rd month onwards he is doing like this... currently I'm expressing and giving him in filler ... can anyone help.... pls

Similar problem with my daughter too.. She is 4 months now she refuses to take feed when she is awake though she is hungry. She keeps sucking her thumb. She takes milk only when she is sleepy. My peadeatrition told not to worry since her weight gain is normal. It's okay if she doesn't take milk for 6hrs as per doctor. I too worried in the begenning, now am used to feed while she is sleepy... :)

dont worry babies try to explore der new world at dis age... so dey become distracted.... try feeding at regular intervals... if babys hungry he might hve it or reject.... wats da harm n offerng to feed.... or other option s dnt feed for 2 hrs... let baby b hungry den he might hve it.... my dear frnd 6 hrs gap for a 4 month baby s toooo much.... maximum 4 hrs.... u n go... bt avoid gng fr such a long gap.... last bt nt da least leave it al depends on baby.
