Times have changed and our children do not listen to us and respect us the way we used to our parents. what can be done to make our children respect us?

Hi Anamika ! I totally understand your concern. We need to understand respect can't be demanded ,it is earned. So we can be a role model for our child and respect our elders , family members and even our children. It is important to listen to them, so that they know they are being heard of and their opinion matters. Praise them when they are good ,rather than scolding them each time when they miss the mark. letting them know time and again that we love and care for them and setting an example for them would definitely make us earn respect for ourselves .take care!
