hi Sarita ! that's perfectly fine. teach her through innovative methods. for instance introduce one color per week . say yellow , show her in the book everyday also plan one activity for each day of the week. for example Day 1 : ask her to bring all toys with yellow color from her collection. Day 2: fruits in yellow color Day 3: vegetables in yellow color. Day4 : segregate yellow beads from the rest. Day 5: cover the flower with yellow bindis . Day 6: it is yellow day today so choose yellow dress and wear it Day 7: use yellow colour play doh to make things yellow in color. at times ask her to identify things with yellow color on her way to school. similarly other colors can be taught. please make enough repitition for the child to register these colors. by doing so child is not only learning colors but is also adding words to her vocabulary such as banana, corn, bell pepper, pear , and also learning names of fruits and vegetables etc. hope this helps.

Hi, Children take longer time to learn to recognize color. So when you refer to her personal things refer them with color in your daily conversation. For e. g lets put your red ball inside the basket. Lets Comb your black hair. It's time to brush your white teeth, that's a green leaf and so on. She will soon get them soon
