I don't think he has short term memory loss ....it's normal tat children used to forget once it has nt been practiced quite often.... u do one thing make him write as test what he learns and ask oral question... ask sudden question while he was playing or watching t. v ...tis might help him remember the lessons well.. make learning a bit enjoyable may like link it with the bed time stories u say make him understand the lessons well...

cheer him take him for a walk in every or night where u can discuss about school and day to day activities... may be change his studying room may be he can sit in balcony while doing home works and can go to his room vile dictating to you and write test in hall...

now a days teacher's r giving negative impact on children's which I really hate... if ur son is playing with others they vil say he is too naughty... if for not if he said sitting quite they vil say he is very silent and nt active... the same thing happens to ur child which vil lead to stress in a mother heart ..sasi...please don't take the teacher's words so much just try to improve ur son skills and prove them wrong.... all the best sasi ...first relax ur self and then start vit ur son in full confidence
