should I do sponge in fever or not with severe cold

hello mommies please help me as my son is 2 years and 9 months and his temperature is stable now but on a sudden he got severe cold. is it because of sponge with cold water. he is not able to sleep properly. should I do medication for cold or it will subsidise with time. should I do sponge him with cold if fever rise to 102 or above

Better to avoid doing sponge and putting your kid to sweat down for fever, since because of cold. Fever and cold altogether will settle down only after a time, wait if you have the patience to bear the inconvenience of your kid. If not consult your doctor. If fever doesn't subsidies below 100 F for 2 days then contact your doctor immediately
