Shy girl in front of someone else

My daughter is 5yeasr 10 months old. She is very naughty and talking but in front of someone she is very shy and not talked to any one who new for her. She never stop talking always she talk about anything otherwise she sing poems which learn in school but in front of any other new person she is like dumbo even in front of school teacher.... or even if we are not there then also she is little normal in front of her school teacher and her friends but with us she is shy......... What to do to increase her confidence please advice

hi Preeti! she is behaving so as she knows she would be judged on whatever she says so she prefers to be quiet. make sure whenever she performs , u r not finding faults in that and rather praising her for her performance. even if she prefers to be quiet ,avoid forcing her as that would make her further adamant not to perform. whenever she performs she gets conscious and fearful thinking of what might be ur response once she is done. Preeti children are not dumb but smart enough to understand the consequences they have to face immediately after that. so they try ad play safe.. hope this helps!
