Hi you need to make him understand the difference between day & night. They very well understand d same after 1 & half month of age. Make his strict schedule and don't deviate from it until & unless needed. In d evening after 6 won't allow him to sleep and from 7 to 8 take him out for a round in the pram than coming back to home give him a simple bath, put on d most deem light of d room give him feed and put him to sleep. Don't make any noise in that room. Once you sleep switch off that deem light too. Whenever wake up for feeding don't put any light and no noise. Just take him give feed and put him back. I have been following this since my kid is one and half month old and being successful to make him sleep through out the night. Hope this helps.

There are so many myth with the people, it's how you train your child or what kinda environment you are giving to your child he will be used to with it, just a warm water no need to apply any soap. Put him in small tub where he can fit in pour some water on him just for 3-4 minutes. He will feel fresh after d full day activity and slowly he will come to know that now its sleeping time after bath.

that's true.. though im not following the routine very strictly.. simply a massage at night and dim light with low noise can make the baby sleep for atleast four hours at a stretch..
