Hello Moms.. My baby is 2 1/2 months old.. At times she sleeps at 11-11. 30pm after having a good feed and directly wakes at 5 or 6am in the morning.. Is this fine. ? Pls suggest.

it's perfectly fine dear. .every baby has unique sleeping patterns ll.. n consider urself lucky... till the she is sleeping six straight hours... new mothers needs that quality rest.... mine didn't gave me any.. n is still not a very sound sleeper... this pattern may change anytime.. without any obvious reason when she will a little more grown up.. happy parenting :)

yes.. if she is sleeping without feed for six hours.. that means she can.. no baby can withhold hunger.. not even in deep sleep.. if she will feel hungry she will definitely give some cue... crying or waking up.

hi tanya. my daughter also sleeps for long time. when I askd with my paediatrician he told that in morning time feed baby for every 2 hours and in night time for every 3 hours. if we let the baby sleep for long time without feed so if baby falls sick so chances are higher for getting fits. feed on demand means if baby ask for every hour so we should feed.
