Hi Priyanka.. you must give feed in sitting position only. If is there any serious issue that u cant sit for long then u can feed baby in sleeping position but you should be little up in laying position. And you must check in between that milk should not cum out of baby's mouth n it should not reach to the baby's ear.

My doc suggested me not to do becoz milk may go to baby lungs if the position is not good

the best way to feed is keeping your baby's head slightly upper dan baby's abdomen.. though sleeping n feeding has risks like milk going in baby's lung, you can sleep n feed if you have problem for sitting for long.. . Just take care that your baby's nose is not pressed by your breasts.. you don't fall asleep while feeding.. n make sure that baby sleeps on either side while and after feeding... not on back..

n it's not necessary to feed from both sides... if your baby is full with one then stop.. if he still feels hungry n is suckling on to one side for long time then change the side...
