My daughter is two-and-a-half years and still wakes up a couple of times in the night. I have tried everything but she still gets a disturbed sleep. The doctor says it happens with some children. Please help!

Hi Meenu, some children take longer than usual to adjust to sleeping at night. You could try not putting her to bed during the day, or reducing her nap time in the day. Take her out in the evenings so that she gets enough exercise and gets good sleep. Ensure she is,not eating a heavy meal in the evening that is making her feel uncomfortable. Hope this helps

Hi Meenu, it happens with my daughter a couple of months back. I just changed her routine. Make sure your daughter has heavy dinner one hour b4 going to bed. She should not take afternoon nap for more than 2 hours. Try to wake her up around 8 in the morning. So when she is tried of playing whole day and has taken less rest during rhe day. She would eventually get tried and sleep whole night. Also make sure she is wearning comfortable clothes and also keep her sipper with you. She might be feeling thirsty. This is all what I have done with my daughter and she does not wake up during night. All the best.
