hi Marium! that's not true at all! schools authorities too understand English is not the first language of the child so they don't expect him or her to be fluent while conversing in English . u could ask her to relax and confidently appear for interviews.

Hello Marium. I went for an interview last month for my daughter's admission and the first thing they asked the parents was to answer in the language they felt comfortable. So relax. It is more important to speak confidently and answer to the point. And if any one parent speaks English fluently,he/she can answer the questions.

English is the pioneer of all spoken native languages in India but most of the individuals are not familiar with the language because of the lack of knowledge and speaking practices. People are bothered about how to learn English and how to improve speaking abilities whether they are in positions, in business or, more than likely in academics. It is true that having good English speaking skills can be an advantage when it comes to admission in a school, but that does not mean that your friend’s daughter will not be able to get admission to a good school if her parent does not know how to speak English. Many schools in Delhi offer bilingual or regional language classes, which can be beneficial for the child. You can also encourage your friend to practice her English speaking skills so that she is more confident in the interview. IT Education Centre can help you with this. https://www.iteducationcentre.com/spoken-english-classes-in-pune.php
