1 to 3 years

Often we come across children who are yet not speaking inspite of their peers who are already talking .. As a speech language pathologist it is essential to rule out a concomitant unidentified hearing loss or the lack of an enriching and stimulating environment. Just consider are you spending enough time with your little one or are enslaved to the gadgets taht you robe in to settle them at meal times ! Talking continuously about the child and his environment provided stimulation to the brain and children pick up language and thereby start speaking. If your child is already two mad yet it speaking it will be a good idea to see a speech language pathologist for evaluation and therapy.
