My son is 3 yrs 8 months old. He has been diagnosed tuberculosis. He is underweight and skinny but active. He is not at all interested in eating unless forced to. He will start going to a regular school from next week. The biggest challenge is to make him take the necessary medicine empty stomach in the morning before going to school. Please suggest how to take better care of him and what precautions to take.

Hi Kainat Siddiqui! Don't be disheartened, as it is completely curable. U need to follow Doctor's advise and follow regular regime of medicine as well as diet and let the child take rest. Also u need to Consult an expert regarding the quarantine period for TB as its a communicable disease. Bring it to the notice of school authorities in the larger interest. Also I believe it would be better for the child himself to stay at home for initial few weeks and take rest. Hope u agree with me!
