Hi my baby is one month old . He is not latching directly. I am breastfeeding him with the use of nipple shield. How can i teach him to latch directly

Hi.. I too faced the same problem. I used nipple shield till my boy was 1+ months. Now he is 2+ he can latch directly. Continuous sucking through nipple shield paves way for the nipple bcom erect. Be patience. Try as possible. Pour warm water on ur nipple. Give gentle massage to ur nipple. Soon ur baby will latch directly.
