Teething can cause loose motions?

Hi doctors Please let me know. is it common to get fever and loose motions for babies if they are theething ? my baby got loose motions after her 18th month vaccinations from last three days even her temperature also showing 102. So am giving her meftal syrup as my doctor adviced me to give if baby gets 100/. above temperature. The thing is from last month I stopped breastfeeding, intruducing bottle feed but she won’t drink milk from Bottle. Now am worried about dehydration bcoz she is not taking fluids even orsl ghol if i force her she does vomit... pls suggest me what to do

hi Fatima tuz zahra ! I can understand yr concern.. u could continue with the medicine as prescribed by the doctor. also please ensure bottle is cleaned well and sterilized before serving it to baby as chances of infection increase if hygiene is compromised. avoid force feeding. as soon as she will feel better she would start taking food. meanwhile u could give her water in a clean attractive sipper. also try giving bottle in a dark room.
