Tiffin Ideas...

Hi My Son is all set to go to grade 1, school reopens tommorow. They would be having full day school n would have to take along 3 tiffins.. 1. morning breakfast, 2. lunch , 3. snack /fruit.... all mommies out there... i need help wid tiffin ideas... do help me wid some fun quick receipies....

Dear Megha. I would suggest food which are dry. So stuffed parathas, roti and a dry sabji, lemon rice, egg roll, french toast, sandwiches (veg and non veg), boiled egg and the like will not get too soggy. You could give him some ketchup or chutneys in a small separate container. You could also try whole fruits such as bananas, apples as cut fruits may get spoiled quickly.

Hi dear! U can give pancakes, bread omellette, pav bhaji, poha/ upma/ idli/ dosa ( MTR ready made/homemade) for breakfast. Chappatti with dal/subji ( different everyday) for lunch, cut fruit chat like apple,papaya, mango, cantaloupe, watermelon or cupcakes, Swiss rolls for snacks. all d best!
