Toddler not drinking milk while awake

Hi my daughter is 1. 5 yrs now she doesn’t drink milk while awake , I have to bottle feed her while she is sleeping. Doctor wanted her to give up bottles so on his advise I added Horlick n tried but she rejected to take it , I also tried with date syrup but no results. Any one experienced the same thing please advise.
