hi my baby is turning 6 months too. my mother tried to train her from when she was 3 and a half months but I couldn't continue doing that. still she passes stools every morning and now it has become a routine every morning to take her to the toilet and she will pass stools in the toilet itself. toilet training can start with taking the child to the loo once the child wakes up after a nap. this is when they tend to urinate usually. with that time in mind once in an hour or so it's advised to take the child. it's not very practical but can be done. I've heard that this was how my mother trained me and my brother too.
