umbilical cord infection

my baby is one month old. umbilical cord didn't dry and some puss is oozing out I'm tensed. used ointment and powder which is prescribed by doctor but no use please help with treatment

Hi Archu Murthy ! Keep the area clean and dry, give sponge baths , also let it heal naturally.. u could continue with the treatment presecribed by ur doc. it will take time for pus to dry and infection to heal completely.

U should sprinkle turmeric powder on the belly button sepratly or u can use with any oil

Archu bellybutton par vigin olive oil lagain. Take another doctors second opinion. As puss can be dangerous. Dnt use talcum Powder.
