hi Nidhi.. i faced the same problem a few days amd had a normal delivery . my baby had a tight loop of cord around his neck and we planned for a cesarean, but i got natural labour pains and with constant monitoring of baby's heartbeat, i had a normal delivery. You can still have a normal delivery if 1. the cord around the baby's neck is loose. 2. baby has the strength to withstand the delivery i. e heart beat should not drop and maintain at 140 and above. 3. though my baby had the cord tight around the neck, it was long enough that he could come out. If you want a risk less delivery then go for cesarean.

hi nidhi, my daughter had 2 loops around her neck a week before her birth and she herself resolved it and I had a normal delivery. don't panic... just go with the doctors advice.... it all depends on the situation then and there.... wish you luck and a healthy baby ahead
