Usage of breast pumps

My baby is due on feb 21 2019. I am excited about it and have some questions about baby feeding. *Does usage of manual breast pump cause any harm to mom's breasts? *Will the baby feel the same satisfaction that it gets when being in physical contact with mom's milk?

hi Sowmya Murugan ! it might or might not affect breast depending on the way it's being used and frequency of usage.. try breastfeeding directly first as it strengthens the bond that mother and child share and is the healthiest way of feeding without the use of bottles .however later on if u need to join work, u could use a breast pump..
