hello mommies... today my son had his vaccination he is one and half month old pls suggest me some home tips to reduce his pain

give massage with ice cubes at the injected area. feed him often. the doctor should have given paracetomol. give it as administered by him... ur baby will be fine.. make sure he gets lots of sleep...

hi ...my ped has given paracetamol which reduces pain and fever and u can give hot pack on the injected area

Hi Reshmi, just fomentation that area with an ice wrapped in a cotton cloth after every 2 hours(only dab it) n make him sleep,he will be fine take care

I give him paracetamol dose as it will reduce his pain as he falls asleep even I have two and half month child.

Hi reshmi, I agree with Preeti .. hot fomentation will soothe the injected spot. whenever baby cries soothe him with ur touch n cuddles :) take care

if there is swelling in injected spot give him hot pack pain n swelling il reduce

Babies doesn't know the pain increases more by moving the vaccinated leg ...pain to some extent can b reduced by catching the leg mildly preventing him from shaking t .. it's a tuff job bt this helps ..keep ice cubes tied n a cotton cloth very mildly on the vaccinated area ...

Hi Reshmi, we cannot do much to reduce pain just breastfeed child and make him comfortable by tomorrow he will be fine. Take care.
