hi all...... how much quantity of vitamin d3 drops can i give to my 3 months baby...

hi prachi, 400 IU of Vit D should be given per day is what I have read. there are various syrups available. some have 400 IU/ml and some have 400 IU/ drop. depending on the syrup the dose will differ. it's better to check with the ped who will prescribe appropriately

hi prachi.. my son is 9 month old n my pediatrician adviced me to buy 12 bottles of vit d3 drops at d time of his birth n said to give 1ml each day. That bottle contains 30 ml. composition is 400IU in each ml.. I hope it wil work.

thanx to all for ur comments ..... actually one pediatrician prescribed 6 drops 2 times in a day and another is prescribed 1 ml one time in a day....

hi prachi both my pediatrician advised me 10 drops a day. 5 drops in the morning n 5 drops in the evening.

Hi Prachi, my paediatrician suggested 1ml. Also my suggestion is we get vita d3 mainly in sunlight. so may be after 6months you can take your baby out for a walk in the morning. Also please make sure it doesn't affect baby eyes.
