vomitting after feeding

my son vomits the milk after he has been fed or after sometime.. we burp him but still it persists. how do we tackle this?

Same happens with my daughter too. Our doc said burp and burp more. Though we do, she still vomits many times. Doc also said that kids have a tendency to vomit out any excess milk.
