Wakes several time during sleep in night and wants to nurse always to sleep back

Hi all,My lo is 5m old. From last two days he wakes up every half hour or one hour. He wants me to feed him tough he isn't hungry,I do within minutes he sleeps back. Previously he just got up for feeds twice or thrice when actually hungry. Now I feel it's been habit for him to suck for minutes and sleep back. My breast has become a pacifier for him and by morning it pains me plus no proper sleep. I breastfeed him in sleeping position and he doses off. I feel that has created this problem.
