hi mom's.. my baby girl weighed 3. 43 kg at birth. Today she is 5 months old with weight 6. 5kg. I have heard that the birth weight needs to be doubled by 5th month. so does that mean she is not gaining enough? i would like to start with semi solid foods if the weight gain is not satisfactory.

She is perfectly fine and she has gained well. Birth weight should be doubled in 6 month,so she is doing fine. Do not start any solid or semi solid food before 6 month. Just feed baby ur milk or formula milk.
