5 Interesting recipes using pineapple

A fruit which possesses distinct taste and is capable of making any recipe nutritious and delectable .Pineapple is not just a beautiful looking fruit but is loaded with antioxidants and a blend of nutrients like Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Iron, calcium, folate, magnesium, potassium, beta-carotene and many more. Want to experiment with the amazing flavour of pineapple this monsoon? Then here are some recipes which are sure to win over your taste-buds.

So let our lovely pineapple do the talking-5 Recipes which are a must try this season.

  1. 2 Cups pineapple, sliced
  2. 1 Cup peach, deseeded and diced
  3. 1 Ripe mango, peeled and cut into cubes
  4. ½ cup almond milk/soymilk
  5. Few drops vanilla essence
  6. 1 Cup oats
  7. 1 Tsp roasted sunflower seeds
  8. Mint leaves to garnish
  9. Cherries to garnish
  10.  Few pineapple pieces for garnish
  • In a blender, blend together pineapple, peach, mango, almond/soymilk and vanilla essence until the mixture turns smooth.
  • Now place it in a bowl and add the oats to it.
  • Refrigerate the pineapple oats mixture overnight, for better taste.
  • Next day blend the pineapple and oats mixture until smooth.
  • Now remove it into serving bowls and garnish with sunflower seeds, pineapple pieces, cherries and mint leaves.


  1. 1 Pineapple, cleaned and sliced
  2. Handful mint leaves’
  3. 5-6 Litchis
  4. 1 Tsp lemon juice
  5. Few mint leaves for garnish
  • In a juicer, blend together all the ingredients and ice if required.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and add in a flavoured straw.


  1. 1 Pineapple, sliced
  2. 2 Medium carrots, grated
  3. 1/4th cup roasted peanuts
  4. 1 Tsp olive oil
  5. Handful mint leaves
  6. 2 Tbsp chopped coriander
  7. Salt to taste
  8. ¼ th tsp black pepper
  9. ½ Tsp oregano
  10. ½ tsp vinegar (optional)
  11. ½ Tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • In a bowl toss together all the ingredients except coriander and mint leaves.
  • Refrigerate for 6-8hrs and then add in coriander and mint.


  1. 1 Pineapple, sliced
  2. 1 Cup cottage cheese (paneer),crumbled
  3. 1 Tsp honey
  4. 1 Tsp lemon juice
  5. Handful mint leaves, chopped
  6. 1 Tsp roasted flaxseeds
  7. 2 Tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • In a bowl crumble paneer and place it aside.
  • In another bowl toss pineapple, honey, lemon juice and mint leaves and keep it for about 10-15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes add the pineapple mixture to the crumbled cottage cheese and toss well.
  • Garnish with roasted flaxseeds and pomegranate seeds.


  1. 1 Pineapple, sliced into cubes
  2. 1 /4 tsp red chilli powder/red chilli flakes
  3. ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  4. ½ Tsp dried basil
  5. Rock salt to taste
  6. 1 Tsp olive oil/canola oil
  7. 1 ½ tsp lemon juice
  • In a bowl toss the pineapple with rest of the ingredients except oil and let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
  • Now in a non-stick pan add oil and roast pineapple slices till its golden brown.
  • You can also place few pineapple pieces on a skewer and top it up with hung curd dip or home-made mayonnaise (low-fat).
