Importance of self care for parents

In order to be a calm, relaxed and loving parent, it is important that you take care of yourself well. This means you should recognize your feelings and should understand when you need some time off to restore mental and physical balance. Mental calm and mental stability is important for everyone. At Least half an hour, you must give time to yourself - indulge in some hobby, read a book, simply sit with your cup of tea in quiet or just lie down. This will rejuvenate and recharge you.
Self-care means taking care of yourself and making sure your own needs are met. Self-care and mental health are well connected, and neglecting one can have a negative effect on the other.
