My experience with Cloth Diapers

My experience with cloth diapers.

Well if I tell you the truth when I gave birth to my elder son I didn't even know what cloth diapers are. For me, cloth diapers just meant 'lingots', which were too difficult to maintain. Once my son became one-month old I completely switched to disposable diapers. I continued using them till I potty-trained my son.

My Observations:

1 had spent loads of money on diapers.

2. Diapers were comfortable to use, but somehow the fear of chemicals always kept me apprehensive about using them.

3. My baby did develop diaper rashes at times.

4. It took me more time to potty-train my son.

5. Last but not least I was adding loads of garbage to pollute the environment. But for my daughter, I switched to CLOTH DIAPERS.

My Observations on cloth diapers:

1. Cloth diapers are super convenient to use.

2. They are chemical-free.

3. A diaper can even last for 6-8hrs depending on the type being used.

4. And yes they are extremely environment friendly. My daughter is 18 months old now and I have saved a lot of money on diapers till now....wondering how? Because cloth diapers last much longer!!! ... Both during single-use as well as in the longer run.You can use the same diaper about 300 times. It means a total of 8 -10 diapers are good enough till your baby gets potty trained.
