Boosting My Familys Immunity

Difficult times like these have taught me many good things too. I have started giving importance to boost my and my family's immunity so that our body is prepared to fight infections at all times. 

 

One of the best immune-boosting drinks since ages has been milk with turmeric powder (also known as Haldi wala Doodh)

 

And I make sure I use turmeric in day-to-day cooking as well. Recently science has also started to back up traditional claims with their own research on turmeric and how it contains compounds with medicinal properties.

 

These compounds are called curcuminoids — The most important one being curcumin.

 

Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is a very strong antioxidant too, which helps fight infections. 

 

Besides this, Curcumin also helps rejuvenate our skin cells, supports vital organs such as the liver, brain, and heart.
