Chicken and tofu cutlets are great sources of protein, iron, and calcium for your 23-month-old. Chicken provides important B vitamins for brain health and iron for healthy blood, while calcium-fortified tofu supports bone development and also offers protein. For a firmer texture, choose firm tofu; if you prefer a softer cutlet, silken tofu is a great option.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 10-12 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon chicken mince

  • 2 tablespoon silken or firm tofu

  • 2 tablespoon soft cooked pumpkin

  • 1/2 egg

  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

Servings: 4-6 cutlets

Recommended Serving Size: 2 cutlets per serving

Method:

Step 1: In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and shape them into cutlets. 

Step 2: Shallow fry the cutlets on both sides until they are cooked through and golden brown. 

Step 3: Serve these delicious cutlets hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney for an extra kick!
