Mix Nuts (walnuts, Almonds, Cashews or Pecans) 80 gms
Orange juice or any jam: 2 tbsp
Jaggery syrup or honey: 1 – 2 tbsp
Lemon or Orange zest : 2 tsp
Caraway Seeds (whole) ¼ tsp

Salt : ½ tsp
Unsalted Butter: 100 gms
Brown Sugar : 100 gms
Egg : 1
Whole Wheat Powder: 160 gms

Method
The whole process starts a day before. Mix all the dry fruits, nuts and orange juice in a bowl, cover it and keep it aside for at least 12 hours.

Take a full size parchment or butter paper, place the mix in the lengthy edge of the paper. Roll half into a log 1 ½ inch thick making long roll. Refrigerate the dough for several hours or until firm.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade. With the sharp knife cut the logs into ½ inch thick slices. Place the slices on ungreased sheet pan and bake for 15 to 20 mins or until lightly golden. Remove and cool it on a wire rack. Store it in air tight container. Healthy dry fruits cookie is now ready to be enjoyed.
